I just wanted to say thank you to all of our family who made it to DJs game on Saturday. It meant a lot to have all your support. Thanks again we love you all... "3"
Well Brayden finally did it. He has wanted to cut his hair for a few months now but as much as David and I didn't want him to grow it out it was so cute..... Now we find ourselves not wanting him to cut it short again. Anyway I gave in yesterday it's his hair right???? He is such a cute kid!!!!
Scotty is a very close friend of our family and his father Dennis died of Leukemia in June 2005. When we heard my mother had Leukemia that was all I could think of is Dennis struggle and ultimate defeat with this disease. Scotty has just gotten a new tattoo for his dad but he also included my mom. Love you Scott your one in a million, it means a lot.
So DJs team played Alta yesterday and it didn't go as well as we had hoped. The boys played hard but we lost. DJ did score a touchdown and the extra point so that was great for him personally. As David, Jake, and Jared were talking to the boys after the game one of the boys asked so "How much did we win by?" It is great that the boys have so much fun. Way to go BENGALS!!!
DJ- I can't believe what a great kid you have turned into. You are so special and Mommy and Daddy love you so much. You are such a great big brother and Brayden looks up to you so much. I hope you have a awesome birthday and remember we love you so much. Look how much you have changed in 10 years.......

I was taking DJ to preschool and heard the announcements on the radio of something terrible happening in New York. I hurried home, woke up David and we watched footage together as the second plane hit the second tower. We sat there in amazement wondering what was happening. Holding Brayden who was 4 months old, I just held him and cried. I sat there thinking about all those people who had just lost their lives and all the families who’s lives had just be changed forever. I will never forget that day or all the people who lost their lives, and I am thankful to all the men and women who are serving our country to protect our freedom.
As most of you know my mom was diagnosed with Leukemia in February of this year. She has been fighting a hard battle to beat this disease and she is coming out the winner.
Mom I am so proud of you and I know it hasn’t been easy but your strength and courage through this terrible time has been amazing. You are the rock of this family and we would all be lost without you. Have a great first day back at work..... You are my HERO!! "3"
So we have an Abel tradition which is lunch on Sunday afternoons with the family. Today was CHICKEN and DUMPLINGS which we all love. As you see ReaRea is no exception.
This weekend we were invited to go tailgating for the University of Utah game with the VanLeeuwen’s. It was a lot of fun. The boys played football and golf in the motor home if you can believe that. We really enjoyed ourselves, thanks for the invite.
Last night after football we went to dinner with friends the Cundick's, Heugly's, and Geisler's to Joe's Crab Shack. We love it because all the kids can play and we can visit....we all shared some good laugh's last night :) When we were leaving (at 11:15 PM) all the kids started dancing to the music playing outside, we all quickly grabbed our cameras. It was so cute to watch them all dancing and some of them really "got moves". Thanks Renee for making this video....
So DJ obviously plays for Brighton but this year Bailey (DJs cousin) started playing for Bingham…… Hello can you say family rival!!! Here is a pictue of Lori and I in Yellowstone showing off our new t-shirts we made while on vacation. Aren’t they cute????
We are a happy family of four. We are having so much fun with our 2 boys DJ (12)and Brayden (9). The boys are so adorable and keep us so busy! We can't imagine our lives without them. In fact, we're not sure what we did with our time before the boys!
